So today’s article is a highly requested article so many of you messaged me commented on my posts that you want to know which jewelry goes with what so I understand there can be a lot of confusion when it comes to pairing jewelry with outfits because it can be really confusing which jewelry goes with what so jewelry is a very big topic I feel it cannot be covered in a single article that are because there are many areas in jewelry that I want to talk about like your statement necklaces, your statement earrings, delicate jewelry, ethnic jewelry, Western jewelry, so what I thought is I’ll do a series which will be call jewelry series and I will do different topics on that.
So the first article of the jewelry series is today’s article which is how to style statement neckpieces with Western wear. So without further ado, let’s start today’s exciting article with you.
First of all what is a statement neckpiece so it is something which creates a static statement on its own like a big beautiful necklace. So that kind of pieces are called statement pieces you know which draws the attention completely on it and it transforms your whole look. So I personally love statement pieces. So the first thing that you have to kept in mind while pairing your Western wear with jewelry or statement neckpieces is the color combination. Now not every jewelry goes with everything. So what color combination i mean is that like you’re wearing a black top now black is a color which goes with everything it goes with silver jewelry, gold and jewelry multicolor jewelry, stone jewelry, so black is an exception.
But apart from that like I’m wearing this pink top, everything doesn’t go with it. silver jewelry goes with it some multicolored will go with it. But not everything will go with it. So combinations like pink with silver looks great combination like navy blue with silver looks great. Red looks great with silver and gold both so I will show you examples like I have got this necklace. I recently got this one from like the Afghani to read so Afghani like please I will pair it with something like pink because pink goes great with silver. Now something like this which has golden and black in it. I filled this one with something like gray or black will look good with that something like this which is a chunky silver necklace. I will pair it with something like a black top. Again, black goes with everything.
Something like this thick piece this goes beautifully with black as well as white this goes really good with white because it has these blackish kind of you know bottom which looks really good with white shirts or something like this will go really well with something like a turquoise top because it has turquoise in the center. So it will look great with turquoise. So that’s how I will advise you to keep in mind the color combination whenever you want to pair statement necklaces with your Western wear.
Second thing to keep in mind is that there should be only one statement is in your whole look like if you are wearing a big chunky necklace or a big beautiful necklace. You don’t have to wear big earrings because then it will be like too much. So whenever you are wearing pieces like I have shown like this one or this one, like this one or something like this one. You do not have to wear earrings in this Yes. If you want to wear you can wear like small studs but that’s it you don’t have to wear anything which is huge otherwise it doesn’t look nice. So the second thing to keep in mind would be do not pair two statement pieces together with statement please keep the earrings just you know, very simple.
The third thing to keep in mind is that if you’re wearing something like a printed top, a necklace would not be too much visible on that so I would advise you to wear statement neckpieces over the years solid tops because with solid jobs your neck T stands out, you know are you getting what I’m trying to say is In printed talk it will be like too much confusion. So try to wear segment neckpieces with solid you know dresses or solid jobs that will look really great so that will be My third tip to style statement that piece with your Western wear.
Now fourth thing to keep in mind is the neck of the top or the dress that you are wearing.This is really important because the neck of the top really defines what jewelry can go with. Like for example, if you’re wearing a high neck top, circular necklace with a look beautiful. If you’re wearing something like off shoulder like I am wearing here, do not wear long neck pieces with it where something like choker that I’m wearing. joggers look really beautiful with your off shoulder tops when something like color like shirts or shirt dresses, you can wear or circular necklace underneath the collar It looks so classy, I can’t tell you. So if you are wondering when you can pair with shirts, just wear circular necklaces which shirt that looks really nice. With something like a collared blouse You can also wear a long pendant Necklace next with something like a round deep circular or rectangular top. You can wear chokers You can also wear something like a circular necklace again to that will look like really nice with it. So with circular I mean something like this. This is a circular necklace. This will look really nice next album strapping tops or dresses with strappy tops your long necklace looks really nice. Something like this long necklace. So this will look really nice this strappy tops.
Next is boat-neck tops with a boat-neck I would prefer a long necklace or a long pendant something like that. So that is how I style my statement neckpieces with my Western dogs, Western dresses, and you know different types of tops like off shoulder cold shoulder your shirts, or something like a deep v neck Squire neck circle and a botnet. So that’s how I do it and that is what I will advise you to wear.
