Congratulations, you are engaged! Now that the initial shock has worn off and you are able to peel your eyes away from the sparkly ring on your finger, you start thinking to yourself…. Now What? So here is a quick pre-wedding checklist that will help you keep things organized.

Set A Date: First and foremost set a date, after congratulations, people will say, “let me see your ring…” And trust me when I say the first thing people will ask you is when is the wedding? It will save you a ton of headache if you and your partner have come up with a specific answer like thinking this winter or next summer sounds nice… Even though invites don’t go out until much much later, but this will ensure that none of your favorite people are missing on your big day.

Fix A Budget: BUDGET! BUDGET! BUDGET! This will determine the size, location and pretty much every single element to incorporate into your big day. It’s normal if you budget moves little bit here and there but try and stick to it. Do not overspend Brides as it will help keep your dad’s blood pressure in check.

Pick Your Wedding Style: Close your eyes and imagine your fantasy wedding, Is it a romantic candlelit ceremony in a hotel or you walking barefoot down the beach, it is modern, classic, romantic, traditional, vintage or all out glam. Spend some time gathering inspirations to figure out exactly what you want and what you don’t want.

Hire a wedding planner: Hire a wedding planner or not think about some of the things you will have to do in the lead up to your wedding from organizing the florist to negotiating with caterers and really reflect on whether you will need a little bit of extra help. So bridezillas you know exactly who you are. It’s OK to let go of a little bit of responsibility and enjoy the ride. Just make sure if you are hiring a wedding planner you have room for it in your budget.

Lock Your Caterer: Hang On, it;s not quite time to say yes to the dress yet… my next point is catering. Trust me when I say a year from your wedding people will only remember two things, one- What you wore? and second- What they ate? The best caterers are super busy during wedding season. So make sure to them as early as possible.

Jewellery And Clothing: In that order always, pick your wedding jewelry first and then the clothes to match. Jewelry is a a much bigger investment, you wear your wedding lehenga once but you can wear your jewelry forever. Don’t forget your post wedding life though when buying your trousseau. Imagine What your life is going to be like after you are married and then create custom jewels to match.

Some More Checklists: It’s not over yet … have you booked your hair and makeup artist? It’s really important to do trial before making a final decision. Have you thought about whether you are going to do your decor by yourself or with the help of a decorator. Have you thought about invitations, gifts, favors for your side and the in-laws, friends and extended family. Not to mention the Pandit, Band, choreographer, Ghodiwala, Photographer and Videographer these are all super important parts of the checklist.

Final Suggestion: The more you get done earlier the more you get to actually relax and enjoy the lead up to your wedding. I can’t tell you How many brides, grooms and their family members hardly remember the wedding functions because of all the running around and coordination they have to do. So start early, stay organized, remember to pamper yourself and just breathe. The journey should be as fun as the destination.

7 Tips And Tricks To Maintain Your Sweaters

It shouldn’t be necessary to clean your sweaters often, still it is important to care for them properly when the time comes. We recommend that you take your sweater to an environmentally friendly dry cleaner or hand wash your sweaters. All fibers have unique care needs and we’ve put together our tips for caring for and protecting your wool sweaters.

1. It’s best to make sure your sweaters are clean before you store them, as moths and other pests feed off sweat and stains. You also don’t want stains and odors to set in. Sometimes you can simply air a sweater out by placing it in or near fresh air, to get rid of odors. Always fold your sweaters. Also, make sure they’re stored out of direct sunlight. Don’t hang your sweaters old them instead, hanging stretches them out.
2. Use a baby brush to remove lint. Gently try to scratch lint with baby brush from your sweater.
3. The unavoidable truth is all sweaters will pill just by wearing or cleaning them. You can remove pills easily by holding the sweater flat with one hand and slicing off pills one at a time with a simple razor, like a Bic. You can also use a pumice stone to De-pill  sweaters.
4. Freeze your sweaters for 3-4 hours. This avoids pulling and kills moths. Use a small and clean plastic bag for cooling it.
5. Spritz vodka to kill bacteria and remove unwanted odor.
6. Add vinegar to bring back fluff.
7. Always hand-wash your sweaters to keep them for long with you. Never wring anything. Gently squeeze water out of the sweater and then lay it flat on a towel. Roll it up like a sleeping bag to really suck up the excess water. Dry it by laying it flat on a clean towel or a drying rack.
8. After the wash and rinse, refill the sink or basin with enough cool water to allow the sweater to swirl around. Thoroughly mix in liquid fabric softener and follow the same directions for washing explained earlier. Rinse it thoroughly in cool water.

• Makes it easy to experiment with different content types: photo, short video, Boomerang (GIF-like image), video filmed backwards (Rewind) and live video.

• Tagging other accounts, e.g. @Instagram in Stories is ideal for collaborators and influencer marketing.

• Fun additions like face filters, text and stickers help you edit images on-the-go.

• Story search for hashtags and locations make them more discoverable.

All photos and videos you add will play in the sequence they were added and you can add as many as you like. Instagram Stories adverts became available to all businesses globally in March 2017. You can use these to target new audiences and add CTAs to your collages which can be especially useful for promotions. Hashtags essentially act as a search function for Instagram to find relevant followers and brands. This rings true for users and businesses alike.

And again, tapping into your target audience means getting specific.

For example, the #beauty tag has literally hundreds of millions of posts behind it. Rather than tackle crowded hashtags, consider how smaller, niche hashtags such as #unicornhair, #bluehairdontcare or #coloredhairgoals exist in which a beauty brand could realistically stand out.
